Postulants admitted receive a large certificate in traditional Order colours, insignia and crest appropriate to the member’s rank.

Members can change their style and title to Lord or Lady using the supplied documentation known as a Change of Title Deed.

Process and Application Form:

Postulants may no longer approach the Order directly, but must either be invited to join by nomination, seconded by another member of the Order, or purchase all the forms directly from our appointed agent via eBay for only £19.99.

If you have recently fallen victim of the fraudulent listings on the internet auction site eBay from eBay member 'orderoftheblackermine' who registered only in November 2007, and who is an impostor and criminal, please contact us on 0871 426 6979 or send a message using the 'Contact Us' link in the Menu.

We are in the process of compiling a case file with our Solicitors and would welcome any fresh evidence that you can supply.

PLEASE NOTE:

The genuine paperwork that is supplied by the Order of the Black Ermine consists of:

1. Certificate, hand-signed by the Grand Master of the Order.

2 Personalised letter from the Rev. Thomas Green containing full instrucions.

3. Change of Title Deed as required under UK Law to change official ID etc.

4. All presented in a silver-foil envelope.

5. The Order DOES NOT issue membership cards.
