The Order of the Black Ermine was formed primarily to encourage charitable deeds throughout the world for the greater good of mankind. Through our fundraising activities for various charitable organisations via MissionFish and justgiving, we have established ourselves as one of the elite organisations in the United Kingdom that provides help to those who need it most. For 2009, we aim to raise £5,000 for the NSPCC, which you can read more about at www.justgiving.com/orderoftheblackermine. If each of our 5,000+ members could donate just £1 each, we would hit our target.

The Order offers either Honorary Membership to those deemed worthy, or via our sole retained agent, Lordships4u.com.

Lordships4u (www.lordships4u.com) are based in the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, England and are our only authorised representative.

The Order does not provide plots of land in Scotland so membership should not be confused with the purchase of land in Scotland on the incorrect assumption that you would then be able to call yourself a 'Lord' or 'Lady'.
